Religious Education Class Information

ALL parents / guardians must read, sign and return the last page The Religious Education Handbook to the student's Religious Educator.  A copy of the form can be found here.

For new students, please fill out and print this adobe form and bring it to the parish (or mail it to the rectory).

For continuing students, please fill out and print this adobe form and bring it to the parish (or mail it to the rectory).

Parish students who attend area public schools are expected to attend Religious Education classes.  Those in Catholic schools are also welcome.  Along with the study of our Catholic Faith our students are prepared for the sacraments of Reconciliation, First Eucharist, and Confirmation.  In order to receive these sacraments, the Diocese of Wilmington REQUIRES a child be enrolled in a program for a minimum of two (2) consecutive years before reception of the sacrament.  Contact a Religious Educator for more information and/or to register.

This Confirmation Community Service form must be filled out by each Confirmation Student participating in completing community service hours.

NOTES:

• Should you need to contact the Parish Hall during classes for any reason, the number is (302) 757-4551.
• Sign-up sheets will be available for providing snacks and drinks after confirmation in October.
• All Religious Education students MUST attend confirmation Mass in October.

The 2010-2011 Religious Education class schedule (here is a calendar of the classes) and homework assignments (to be filled during the year) will be added soon. Classes start in September!

Classes are held from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM.
